*Hatch rate increases with pH. Must be above 7.0 to hatch, at 8.0 or higher will produce the best hatch rate
*Salinity should be 1.018 - 1.023 specific gravity. Use non-iodized or kosher salt as iodine will kill the eggs. 1.5 - 2 level Tablespoons of salt per liter.
*Light is recommended during the incubation period
*Ideal hatching temperature is 80-82F / 26-28C. Do not exceed 86F / 30C.
*Strong aeration is recommended for the best hatch rate
*Density of eggs should not exceed 2 grams per liter of salted water (1/2 teaspoon per liter).
*Incubation period: 18 - 30 hours
